Visual Arts

The visual arts allow for the unique expression of thoughts, ideas, and culture. The Fort Atkinson Club strives to bring great art to the community, highlight local artists, and share the visual arts with all who wish to enjoy it.

FAC has put together visual art exhibitions and workshops throughout the year. We work to make these events open and accessible to the public.

Free Art Classes hosted by UW-Whitewater Art Education Students

UW-Whitewater’s Art Education graduating students are offering free art classes to the Fort Atkinson community! These classes will be led by talented students who will share their skills with participants of all ages. Everyone is welcome to join and explore their creativity. The class will meet on September 24, October 22, November 21, February 11, March 11, and April 22 with a concluding class show in May.

October 22nd

This event will feature scribble drawing, a low-stress drawing exercise for anyone looking to improve their drawing skills. Scribble drawing allows for artists to get a sense for value and form without worrying about making their drawing perfect. This technique allows for “mistakes” to be made, while also being able to create something that you can be proud of. Come join us in scribbling a little on Tuesday October 22nd
