20/20/20 YOGA

Join us for the new 20/20/20 class:

20 minutes intuitive dance/ 20 minutes yoga flow/ 20 minutes yin movement and meditation led by Hannah Anastasia Ruth (RYT 200).
I want you to experience freedom in your body alongside your community. You do not need to know anything about dance or yoga or meditation. In fact, this class might be easier for you if you’re bad at all three of them!
This class is for you if:
– You have anxiety.
– You experience depression and have an idea that movement might help your body process things.
– You are wanting to do some healing work but cannot afford therapy yet or are in therapy and are looking to expand your toolkit.
– You want to explore what it means to feel safe and expressive in your community and relationships.
– You want to DANCE and feel FREE.
– You want to get a good workout but you also want it to be fun aka: we will work up a good sweat but only when it’s what your body WANTS and is calling for.
– You want to get more in touch with your body and do some unshaming work. (I am inspired by David Bedrick’s unshaming work. His methods won’t be explicitly in my class, but the heart of my practice is rooted in his unshaming work.)
– You want to increase proprioception and flexibility without the pressure of a full yoga class, with a little more play, a little more flow, a little more intuitive movement.
– You want a moment in your day to slow down, deeply connect, and be still.
– You are ready to invest in cultivating peace of mind, body, spirit.

Hannah specializes in embodiment, encouraging each student to find their own unique flow and listen to their own body, breath, mind, and spirit. She is passionate about the healing powers of somatics and how deep attunement to the body is where healing happens.
Hannah adopted yoga and intuitive movement/dance as a form of movement medicine in her complex PTSD healing journey. She also utilized it as maintenance care for her sciatic nerve flare ups.
She brings to the table an awareness of how each student can benefit from yoga for physical fitness and/or physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
