Contra dancing is traditional folk dancing set to the music of a live, fiddle-based string band. It’s lively, social, and fun!

• It’s danced in pairs, and long lines but you don’t need to bring a partner
• A caller guides the dancers with instructions before each dance
• No special dress required. Wear comfortable, non-marking shoes
