Homegrown: Locally Sourced Art from the Rock River Region

Artist Reception & Panel Discussion
September 17 | 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Join us for light refreshments and a panel with some of the Homegrown artists to discuss their connection to the Rock River and how it has influenced their work.

This juried exhibition celebrates the history, culture, and heritage of Fort Atkinson and the surrounding area, made by the people who call it home. Just as the slow food and buy-local movements ask us to look close to home for what nourishes us, this exhibition asks the same of art. And just as locally sourced food belongs on a local table, locally made art belongs in the community’s center.
belongs to all of us.

Jazz on the Patio

Join us on the patio on August 21 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM for Jazz Night on the Patio, the second installment of FAC’s Summer Music Series. Our music guest, Sam Fettig, will serenade the evening. Drawing on influences from classical tradition, jazz, and minimalism, his works frequently explore themes of place, motion, wonder, and perspective while remaining engaging and accessible to performers and audiences alike.
